Mens Convention - Feb 24/25
men's katoomba convention is only 5 weeks away. This year is going to be one of the most practical as we tackle the issue of work together.
It takes up the majority of our lives – quite simply, work is a topic that Christian men need to understand so that they can best use it to God’s glory. Whether you’re about to enter the workforce, neck deep in your work life or wondering how to use your time in retirement, this year's men's convention is for all men.
Gary Millar (who spoke on Song of Songs at mkc 10) will join Paul Grimmond to speak from the Bible about what God says about work and how we as Christian men should approach our work, whatever it may be.
In Tin Shed Time we will be building upon the theme of ‘Men and Work’ by drawing on the experiences of three men at different stages of their work lives – an ex butcher turned Teacher, a private business owner and a TV producer. Paul Richards, Dave Munnoch and Warwick Smith will reflect on their lives as Christian workers, and challenge men to think about how to use their work to glorify God.
Don’t miss the opportunity to have men at your church spend time with thousands of other Christian men, learning from God’s word about work, encouraging each other to continue to serve Him in whatever workplace we find ourselves.
A group of 20 men from St John's are already going. Cost is $135. This includes the conference + Breakfast/Lunch on Saturday + accommodation on Friday night.
