Mucking Around in Boats

April 2004: Despite autumn rain, the foundations of the new church building continue to take shape. March saw the preparation of the car park, kerbing of the car park and driveway, and digging of the footings beneath the slab. Just prior to Easter, most of the reinforcing steel had been formed in the trenches. Some seasonal rain foiled the builder's attempts to get the slab poured before the Easter public holiday.
